I invited a colleague as a collaborator to my DatoCMS project using his work email. He had his personal account logged in to his browser and when he clicked the link on his email, Dato added his personal account to the project.
Shouldn’t there be some sort of validation that the actual email where I send the invitation would be added to the project?

Since a lot of collaborators use aliases to create accounts on DatoCMS we only validate upon invite sending not upon invite acception.
This way if you invite someone with the email john@gmail.com they can accept the invite and register as john+work@gmail.com
If we validated also on invite acception that would no longer be valid unfortunately.
