Hyperlinks on Dato Use Cases Page

I have a couple of sites listed on the use cases page (https://www.datocms.com/use-cases/). This page does not link to the featured sites, which is very poor web etiquette. It’s standard to link to third-party content, especially when using it to make yourself look good.

I raised a support ticket on this issue some time ago, and received a slightly snarky response, stating something like the team may look into it in a future update.

This is really uncool, and not what I would expect from the Dato team. Please add proper hyperlinks (not rel=nofollow) if you wish to show our content in your gallery, and properly credit content authors.

I couldn’t find what you were referring to, but I’m sorry if you felt having received a bad response before.

Regarding that page, we know it’s problematic and we want to refresh it soon. It will surely have the information you are mentioning, you are right about that.

Thanks for your response Mat. Can you explain why you’re waiting to refresh it? Why don’t you fix the current version? Is there a good technical reason why you can’t turn the URL text into a hyperlink?

Honestly I’m not sure why it’s like this. And so I’ve done a quick fix now: https://github.com/datocms/website/pull/26 (going live now).

It might change soon or be reverted if that was causing problems, but I agree with your complaint.

We’ll change the page soon in order to have the option of adding more information on the developers having made the sites.

This 100% solves the problem. Thank you and keep up the good work!
