I’m about to conduct a research study focused on the DatoCMS Visual Editing setup experience, and I’m looking for developers willing to share their perspective in a one-on-one remote interview.
What I’m investigating
Setting up Visual Editing on an existing project (not a starter kit) involves coordinating several moving parts. I want to understand where the experience works well, where it gets hard, and what leads developers to include or exclude it from client deliverables.
Who I’m looking for
I’d love to hear from you if any of these apply:

You’ve successfully set up Visual Editing on an existing DatoCMS project

You attempted the setup but ran into blockers and didn’t complete it

You’ve considered implementing it for a client but decided against it
Agency developers, freelancers, and independent consultants are all welcome. You don’t need to have succeeded: if anything, partial attempts and abandoned setups are especially valuable to my research.
What’s involved
A 30–45 minute remote interview (video call), scheduled at a time that works for you. I’ll ask about your experience with the setup process and your decision-making around recommending or implementing Visual Editing for clients.
