- After adding a metadata requirement (eg. alt text) to an image field, existing records show the expected ‘red dot’ status.
- Once the required default metadata has been added to the relevant images, these records stay in the invalid state until they are next updated.
- The records should revalidate at some point in the process, so you don’t need to make an arbitrary edit to every one (which could be hundreds) to get them to show as valid.
@webworkshop I agree with your request, but have you tried already removing and readding the validation after you have added the default metadata? Isn’t this the same? I’m not sure we should trigger a revalidation of every item that use an asset when the asset is modified. What do you think?
