Currently if I want to check for unpublished, draft, or published content, I need to open each section in the sidebar and then filter by status. It would be great if there was a view that contained all content types where I could filter by status etc. This would allow me to quickly spot content that should/shouldn’t be published etc.
Hi @ivo1,
Normally, you should be able to see published status in the collection view:
If you don’t see that, could you please check the column figuration (the gear icon in the upper right) and make sure that column is enabled?
If you still don’t see it, could you please let me know the URL you’re trying to view this at, and I can take a look there?
Hi Roger!
I think this might be the same thing I have been wishing for since we left Drupal for Dato…one main page that show all content types, where you can sort for things like status. Since I’m pretty much the only person who does edits on our site, it hasn’t been super important. But, we have started to slowly open things up, so it would be helpful to see this type of feature.
I have this Calendar plug-in, but it’s not very useful.
Hope you’re doing well,
MaryPat
Hello @mphofer,
So good to hear from you, and hope you’re well there!
And so sorry (to @ivo1 as well) that I missed that initial nuance… so the difficulty is in being able to see ALL your drafts/published items, across ALL your models (content types), not just one at a time? Am I understanding that correctly?
We might be able to do something like that with a plug-in. Let me take a look here and get back to you if I can find a working solution!
Thanks for following up, Roger! I
I am not 100% sure that I’m reading OP’s question accurately myself. But, yes, I’d like to be able to see all models on one screen, and be able to sort from there by status, dates, recent updates, etc.
I managed to find some old screenshots from our Drupal site, if it helps understand.
Wow, that’s some good archival record-keeping there. What, do you work for a museum? ![]()
Thanks for the screenshots! They are helpful. I will explore whether a plug-in could work for this… please give me a few days on that.
Quick update: I have a prototype plug-in kinda sorta working:
But unfortunately, the sorting (by date or published status) doesn’t seem to work right now. Normally, the sorting and filtering are limited to one model at a time… so if you try to sort by date/status across multiple models, the server doesn’t like it. I’m double-checking with the devs to see if this is a limitation on our side… will keep you all updated.
