Is there a way to remove manual tag no more used?

Unfortuntately that’s not possible yet. If you want we can convert this into a feature request?

It is upto you to decide but I think it is important… :wink:

At least, unused manuel tag should not be in the proposal list.

We just created an automatic task that runs every day and destroys all unused tags and smart tags.

2025 update: The automated tag cleanup now runs once a week, on Sundays.

Can we make it possible to delete manual tags that are created in the media library? Right now when you create tags you don’t want to use, then there is no way to delete it from the tag-library.

Yes please implement this - we have Manual Tags made accidentally that are just polluting the dropdown at this point.

Quick update…

Bad news: Unfortunately, we still don’t have a way for you to manually purge tags yet.

Good news: However, we now have an automated process that will automatically purge all unused tags once a week, on Sundays. Please make sure the tags you wish to purge are not in any of your environments (you can use the filters to search for them), and they should disappear by the following Monday.
