Add node to custom marks for structured text field

Hi,

I’m looking to add a custom node to the toolbar in the structured text field. I would like to click the icon and a colour picker appear, but I can’t seem to find a way to add this functionality.

Can anyone help or is this not possible yet?

Hi @ava.dignam, at present I don’t believe this to be possible, sorry :frowning: It could be a feature request, perhaps?

A couple workarounds…

  1. If you can live with only a few individual colors that are predefined, you can add custom marks via a plugin to the Structured Text editor.

  2. If you don’t absolutely need Structured Text and can live with a HTML field instead, the TinyMCE plugin on a multi-line text field will let you set the color:

Thanks for getting back to me! I think we’ll have to use the custom marks instead and I think I’ll put in a feature request, thanks again!
