Rich-text field possibility to remove <p>

We are running into a problem where the rich-text editor add’s a standard paragraph-tag to plain text, this tag is not removable. Would be cool to keep the html-editor’s buttons and functionality while both supporting rich-text and plain-text if specified.

A way to convert existing content to said new editor/function through the content-management-api would also be nice

hey @wouter.blockken please consider using this plugin: TinyMCE Rich Text - Plugins - DatoCMS as a starting point to create your custom rich text editor that does what you want. Unfortunately we cannot support all the variations of this as it would become to complex to use at the setup phase. Hope you understand.
