Request for bulk editing functionality in the product feed

Dear DatoCMS Support Team,
I would like to suggest a new feature for DatoCMS: the ability to perform bulk edits on multiple products within the product schema.

For example:

  • Assigning the same category or custom label to multiple products simultaneously.
  • Adding or modifying attributes (e.g., product category or Google custom labels) for all selected products in one action.

This functionality would greatly streamline workflows, especially for users managing large product catalogs and frequently updating fields required for integrations like Google Merchant Center feeds.

Is this feature currently being considered, or is there an alternative method I could use to achieve this?

Hi @giuseppe.scampa,

Sorry, this functionality isn’t currently available in the UI. You can use the CMA to list and update records via a script, but it’s definitely not as easy as being able to select them in the UI and do the edits that way.
