Our biggest editor painpoint with Dato seems to be the lack of being able to collaborate with other editors within a record. Their current workflow is to get the content to a ‘nearly there’ point within a Google doc, and then move that over to Dato, but that’s less than ideal as have to make the decision on ‘when’ to move over, and also have the potential for Dato/Google docs to get out of sync with each other.
We’d love to be able to do more of this editing/suggestions/commenting with Dato, and not have to use a Google doc at all.
Workflows seem to be more for an approval flow, which isn’t such an issue for us, and the side bar comments plugin is less useful for longer records where it’s harder to see what the comment is referencing.
