Pretty self explanatory feature request here. Sometime we want to use a structured text field to gain some formatting options, but we lose the ability to set a default value when we do. It would be nice to be able to have both.
That’s a good idea, but unfortunately not something we support out of the box yet.
If this is a time-sensitive need, perhaps you could consider using a form extension plugin (that you’d write) attached to those fields to auto-fill some value in? Field extensions — Plugin SDK — DatoCMS
