You can now add emojis by copy pasting the unicode character, it would be great if this can be easily natively selected when editing / creating a sidebar item.
Additionally having the option to use custom emoji or icons would be even more awesome.
This overal improves the navigations for content editors
I second this! Selecting emojis is definitely a bit easier now when creating sidebar items/groups
But I think it could be useful to have a look at the Notion UI on how they allow you to select icons. Offering you to make a selection in either emojis, a set of icons and perhaps even using custom icons.
