Okay, Dato site search and useSiteSearch hook are pretty sick. I’m still not fully clear on what sort of sorcery is being employed here with regard to how it is crawling dynamic route pages in my next application that I didn’t not generate at build time. Seriously, though, how is it doing that?
Overall I love the simple solution to search this provides for projects where something like Algolia is overkill. Especially with how easy it is to include static route pages in the search.
The one thing holding me back from using it on a current project is that I have to settle for showing search results with no images. It would be sick if the crawler stored og:image and returned that with the result.
